I have chosen qualitative research as my method of gathering data. Also, it should be noted that my samples for the surveys are of convenient sampling since all of my research occurs the email, which can easily be checked. The study is conducted in two different Pentecostal churches. One is situated here in Columbia itself, and the other one is in Lawrenceville, Georgia. The survey is given two members at random, but to those above the age of 50 and to those between the age of 21-30.
There is a noticeable risk of bias in my research in terms of the answers I get from my respondents. Since I am a Pentecostal myself, the participants may feel compelled to change their answers in order to avoid offending me or to avoid me from seeing them in a different perspective. This maybe lessened as they are notified that the information is for research purposes only and that all information will be kept confidential.
