Save Marriage (Christian_Vows)

My name is Angel Sara George, and I am conducting this research as part of my Senior Capstone requirement for the Scholars Academy Magnet.  According to research, there was a rise in divorce rates in the 1980s, and it has been steadily increasing since then.  These rates are actually higher in the Southern region known as the "Bible belt" than in the Northeastern part of the United States.  I am particularly interested in why there is a higher rate of divorce among Christians who have Biblical and parental values.  My hypothesis is that it may be caused by the influence of secular culture.
